Generate images from the scene in your image

Scene is a feature that automatically analyzes the content of your uploaded image and uses it to generate a new one, without copying the style.

The system analyzes your image and builds a detailed internal description of the scene: the subjects, how many there are, where they are and how big, the background, and any clearly visible text. You don't see this description. You can generate an image based solely on it, or combine it with your own text prompt for more control.

The visual style of the reference image is ignored. Only the scene, what's in the image and how it is arranged, is used.

You don't need to write a prompt. But if you do, the system will blend your prompt with the extracted scene. When there's a conflict, your prompt takes priority.

How to use it

1. Add your image with the + tile at the start of the image row, or drag it onto the page or paste it

2. Click the image's thumbnail and set Role to Reference and Method to Scene

3. (Optional) Add a prompt to guide the output

4. Make sure the selected model supports Scene (see below)

5. Click the round arrow button to generate

How it works

Scene builds a hidden prompt from what's visible in your image: the objects and people, their positions and scale, the layout, and the background.

You can generate an image based only on this extracted scene, or enhance it with your own prompt.

If there's a conflict between your prompt and the scene, your prompt takes priority.

The visual style of the original image is not transferred: Scene doesn't copy its rendering, lighting style or camera effects.

You can use one Scene image per request. It can be combined with Image to Prompt images, but not with Instruct, Sketch or a pin: whichever you add later is dimmed and left out of the request.

Model compatibility

Scene works with most image Base Models, and with Artist Styles and Private Styles, in the Generating tab. Where a model doesn't support it (Recraft V4 Styles, for example), Scene is greyed out in the Method menu. Exactly 1.0 Agentic and video models don't support it, and it is not available in the Editing tab.
