Introducing projects: redefining the exactly.ai interface

We’ve given exactly.ai a major upgrade, rethinking how you work with your generations. Say hello to projects - a new streamlined workspace that makes organising your creative workflows easier and more intuitive.

The changes

Gone are the days of juggling all your projects on a single board. Now, you can create separate workspaces for each project or client, helping you stay focused and organised.

We’ve also moved from the canvas layout to a chat-based, linear format that keeps everything tidy. Projects allow you to track your prompts, generations, and edits all in one easy-to-navigate space.

A cleaner, faster interface

We’ve made big improvements to how you view and compare generations. Instead of cycling through one frame at a time, you can now see all four generations at once, making it quicker and easier to review and pick your favourites.

You can get a closer look at an individual image and open the editing tools by clicking on it. You can then cycle through the variations using the arrow keys or the navigation buttons. On larger screens your history of generations are kept at the side, for smaller screens they're at the bottom.

You can also prompt up to five models at once! Whether you’re exploring different styles or testing out variations, you can quickly compare results from multiple models side-by-side.

Each project now also has an associated “favourites” section where you can bookmark your best images to return to later.

The trainer interface has also had an upgrade, making training a model easier and more intuitive.

New features

The new update isn’t just a change to the interface - we’ve also packed in a bunch of new features to improve your workflow.

Image prompt

Ever struggled to put an idea into words? Now you can use an image instead. With our image prompt feature, you can use an uploaded reference image instead of a prompt. Feel free to leave the prompt blank or, you can add instructions like “add a coke and fries” or, “make this pattern out of bananas, not pears” to customise your result.

Image vectorisation (SVG downloads)

You can now download SVG files directly from exactly.ai, giving you the freedom to edit your image in illustrator, figma or your tool of choice. Vectorised downloads are included in commercial licence fees, or for custom plans at a price of 50 credits. If you need SVG downloads don’t hesitate to contact us

8K upscaling

We’ve increased the resolution of our upscaling technology! If you need print-quality images you can now download 8k images from our public styles. Upscaling is capped at 4k for custom styles, unless you’re on an enterprise plan where you can download 8k for 50 credits per image.

Both 8k upscaling and vectorised downloads are included in the purchase of an image licence from a public model.

Improved editing tools

Our new tools make editing easier than ever. Within each project, you’ll now find Recreate, Replace, Erase and Vary, giving you seamless, flexible editing directly in the app.

FAQs

Where are my old generations?

If you joined us before the transition, don’t worry - you still have access to your original canvas for the time being and when we retire the old interface, all your history of generations will be transferred over.

What’s happening to the canvas?

We will eventually retire the old interface and will communicate exactly when the final transition will happen shortly.
