Big updates, better workflow: what’s new on exactly.ai

You may have noticed that exactly.ai has had a major update!

We’ve launched a brand-new interface designed to make your creative workflow faster, easier and more organised – and packed it with powerful new features to help you get even more from your generations.

A new way to create with projects

The first thing you’ll notice is that the old canvas is gone!

Instead of working from one single board, you can now create separate dedicated workspaces for each idea, client or concept. Organise your prompts, generations and edits all in one place – perfect for managing multiple projects at once.

We’re also saying goodbye to frames. In their place is a chat-based interface that makes it easier to track your creative process and refine your generations.

No more clicking through images one-by-one either. You’ll see all four generations side-by-side for every style model you select. It’s never been easier to compare results and choose your favourites.

When you find artwork you love, simply bookmark it to your Favourites tab for easy access later. As for your previous generations, don't worry, they aren't lost! You'll find them under the history tab.

Introducing powerful new features

Along with these workflow improvements, we’ve rolled out a suite of new tools to give your more creative control and flexibility.

Image prompts

Struggling to put your idea into words? Now you don’t have to. With our new image prompt feature, you can upload a reference image to base your generation on. Use it on its own or combine it with a text prompt to fine-tune the results.

With it comes Sketch Mode and a new sensitivity control, putting you in charge of how closely the generation follows your uploaded reference image. Adjust the slider to suit your needs – higher sensitivity turns your reference into a detailed sketch, keeping the output closely aligned to the original image’s composition, while lower sensitivity allows for more creative variation.

Prompt enhancement

We’ve also introduced Prompt Enhancement, giving you even more ways to fine-tune your generations without changing your original prompt. Easily adjust attributes like Complexity, Distance, Lighting, Mood and Motion to shape the final results to your liking.

Image vectorisation

Need scalable, editable graphics? Now you can download SVG files directly from exactly.ai, giving you the ability to refine your images in Illustrator, Figma or your favourite design tool.

8K upscaling

We’ve increased the resolution of our upscaling technology! If you need high-resolution print-quality images, you can now download 8k images from our public styles.

Multilingual prompts

Prefer to create in your native language? Now you can. Prompts in any language are automatically translated behind the scenes to ensure consistent results — no extra steps needed. We even understand small typos!

Improved editing tools

Take full control of your generations with our improved editing tools.

• Recreate – Select part of the image to modify with a new prompt
• Replace – Select part of the image to regenerate new options
• Erase – Select part of the image to remove it
• Vary – Create variations of your current image with adjustable similarity

These new features are designed to give you greater creative freedom and control over what you generate using exactly.ai.

How to get started

Creating with exactly.ai has never been easier, follow these three steps to bring your ideas to life:

1. Choose your styles – Select up to 5 models to define your image style
2. Pick an aspect ratio – Choose the most suited format for your project
3. Write a prompt – Describe your vision using natural language

Now, it’s time to generate your artwork! Your images will load in a couple of seconds. Once they’re ready, simply click on any image to view it in detail and download.
