Creative commission: Illustration style for MMC ventures report on ethical ai

We’re always looking for ways to connect our community with potential clients. That’s why we’re excited to launch a new series: Creative Commission. Here we’ll showcase high-value paid opportunities from clients who are looking to commission original artworks or models from exactly.ai users. We post the brief: the rest is up to you.

This brief comes from MMC, a venture capital firm based in London. As investors, their priority is start-ups – particularly in the tech space. They describe themselves as “research-led” and are constantly on the lookout for the emerging technologies that will shape the economy of the future. It’s a strategy that’s seen them focus particularly on fintech, data-driven health, data infrastructure, cloud services and of course, AI.

Later this month MMC Ventures is launching a new research report focused on ethical AI, and how investors can best engage with this growing area. Ethical AI is at the core of what we do at exactly.ai, so we were excited when MMC got in touch with a commission for our creative community based around the report’s launch – with a £1,000 fee available to the selected artist.

MMC Ventures are inviting all exactly.ai artists and illustrators to participate in this Creative Commission to design an original artwork that will be used to illustrate the online publication of the report.

MMC’s dedicated research gives the firm a deep and differentiated understanding of emerging technologies and sector dynamics to identify attractive investment opportunities. This latest report on Ethical AI is the latest in its research series into Artificial Intelligence and related fields. MMC’s AI research has been featured on c. 200 websites in 20+ countries, from the front page of the FT and The Times, Bloomberg, CNBC, Les Echo, Information Age, City AM, The Evening Standard and others.

The artwork will be centre-stage at an in-person reception on November 26th, where prominent founders, stakeholders and investors will meet to celebrate the launch of the report. Your style of illustration will be used to make images for the report publication

MMC Ventures are offering a £1,000 commission fee for the selected artist. In addition to this, they will acquire exclusive rights to the chosen model as part of this fee. Deadline for submissions is the 17th November, 2024.

How to participate

1. Generate images with your model
2. When you like an image, press the “Competition” button on the top right corner of your screen
3. Choose frame with an image and press "Submit artwork"
4. You will see on a screen all images that you have submitted
