Community brief: Hiring Humans

We’re always looking for ways to connect our community with potential clients. That’s why we’re excited to launch a new series: Community Brief. Here we’ll showcase paid opportunities from potential clients who are looking to commission original artworks or models from exactly.ai users. We post the brief: the rest is up to you.

Our first Community Brief comes from Danny Martinez. The former head of business operations at Airbnb, he recently launched a Substack Hiring Humans – a regular newsletter offering insights and reflections on how AI is transforming the hiring process, and how these huge changes can be navigated with empathy for the real people applying for every role. It features the thoughts of Danny, and other contributing startup founders, as they attempt to make sense of this ever-changing landscape.

Much like exactly.ai, Danny is interested in preserving the human touch in the field of AI. That’s why he was drawn to the idea of collaborating with the exactly.ai community, where artists can create AI illustrations with style and soul. Danny wants to use exactly.ai to create a visual identity for Hiring Humans, and has decided to open up the floor for users to submit their models for consideration. Danny is looking for a model that will generate simple, stylish illustrations to accompany his blog-posts, and was recently inspired by the work of Dominik Korolczuk who was featured as a Use Case on our website.

The creator of the selected model will be paid for their work, and Danny won’t retain any exclusive rights over its future use. We’ll publish all submissions on our models page, so even if you’re not chosen this time, you’ll still have a chance to showcase your work to the wider community.

Who can participate

This is an opportunity for existing and new members of exactly. We invite artists, illustrators, and designers working with all mediums to come on board. Here, we would love to see your diverse, unique perspectives brought to life. Let’s create your personal AI models trained on your artwork, and submit images created with it to this competition.

How to participate

1. Press "Enter the Competition" button on this page
2. Upload your original artwork to create your own AI model
3. You can submit as many models and images as you like

How to submit to the open call

1. Generate images with your model
2. When you like an image, press the “Competition” button on the top right corner of your screen
3. Choose frame with an image and press "Submit artwork"
4. You will see on a screen all images that you have submitted
