Full Stack Developer

Overview

Exactly.ai is an early stage startup that recently completed its seed round of investment. We are building a marketplace for professional visual creators to train and publish their personal Generative AI models. Brands can rent these models to generate images for their marketing and product needs. Since launching in November 2022, Exactly has gained 15K registered users, including award-winning and internationally recognized artists. We prioritize ethically sourced AI, ensuring all uploaded images, created models, and generated images remain the property of the artists.

Exactly is a member of the NVIDIA Inception Accelerator and has been recognized as one of the top 15 European and Israeli startups in 2023 by Google for Startups. We have also graduated from the Google AI First Accelerator. Our AI Research team has developed a technology that excels at understanding an artist's style and creating high-quality images in that style.

With these accomplishments in our first year, we have exciting plans for 2024 and are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Engineer to join Exactly.

What you'll do

• Develop and deploy advanced AI-driven tools, integrating them seamlessly with schedulers, job queues, and our platform. Optimize these tools in collaboration with our Machine Learning and R&D team to enhance performance and scalability.
• Create and maintain auxiliary pipelines for content moderation, analytics, and user experience enhancement, utilizing cutting-edge ML/AI technologies. You will have substantial technical discretion while aligning with our product and development strategies.
• Innovate and implement state-of-the-art tools that expedite the development cycle for ML/AI features. This includes crafting highly visual and responsive tools that support fast and interactive prototyping.

Knowledge, skills, abilities

• Ability to build complete web applications, from UI creation to deployment, integrating external services seamlessly.
• Expertise in scalable and distributed systems, including message brokers, job queues, event passing, and cloud deployment tools.
• Proficiency with Python and its web backend frameworks (such as Django or FastAPI), with strong skills in concurrent/asynchronous programming. Experience with client-side JavaScript, particularly frameworks like React or Next.js, is highly desirable.
• Being innovative, proposing and executing novel ideas independently.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record of developing and scaling web projects, particularly those involving loaded/distributed systems.
• Experience with deploying ML/AI workloads to production at scale and optimizing such systems is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in deploying specifically ML/AI workloads to production at scale and/or optimizing such workloads.
• Record of designing and implementing complex interactions in high-load systems at full stack.
• Postgraduate degree in computer science, machine learning, or a related field.

Compensation

• The salary for this role is determined based on the market benchmark and the candidate's years of experience.
• In addition to salary, stock options are provided.
• The work arrangement for this role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office.
• Candidates from all locations are eligible for remote work in this role, even if the company's primary office is in London.
• The role offers 25 days of holiday in addition to bank holidays.
